The last day of the holidays for the children, the first day of a change for me so off we went to Regent's Park to the zoo.

What a fantastic place with lots of very interesting and well maintained enclosures. Even better, not too busy. The only downside is that there is often a very thick layer of none-too-clean glass between you and the amazing animals. Mind you, in the case of the larger animals that's got to be good (for us...)

Lunch was had in Camden at Al Parco: friendly, fast service, lovely atmosphere, cheap. If you happen to be in the neighbourhood do pay it a visit, highly recommended!
