Village Show

Saturday 5th September 2015 (1106)

The break is over :-( An early start this morning to drive back over the Pennines then straight back on duty at an event this morning and then the Village Show this afternoon. Now I have to prepare for tomorrow. 

The traditional village show had a photography exhibition alongside the cakes, flowers, oversized vegetables and various crafts. There was a "junk sculpture" competition and I loved this creation of the church and village pub. I didn't enter any of my photos this year.

36 sleeps until my next big holiday! 

The other day Marpaul did a great twirl creation and posted a link to a tutorial on how to do it. Today I decided to try it with the photo above, the result is the darker extra photo, the lighter extra photo is a twirl of my cutty sark picture from the other day - I'm hooked! Can you tell I don't want to prepare for tomorrow and am finding excuses to put it off!
