Up in the hills

Today has been a public holiday ... celebrating 70 years since China's victory over Japanese occupation. So a one off holiday.

I have to credit this picture to my darling Martin who took off hiking first thing and took this picture up in the hills around DB. It had to be shared!

It was overcast all day which was a break from the crazy rains we've had over the last few days.

Went for a farewell BBQ in the arvo for friends from church who are leaving HK and heading to London! Always really sad to see people leave but that's just part of the expat deal :(
