Up on Minchinhampton Common

After a morning of sorting the cars out, MrH needed new tyres and I have a wheel bearing that needs replacing, there was time to venture up to the common. It was gently spitting and threatening rain so I treated myself to a wander around with a banana and toffee ice cream from the ice cream van which was unusually devoid of customers.

I love these beautiful animals. I didn't get too close and only had my phone to use as a camera but I love the colours and think that their hair looks particularly moody in the compromised light with a little background breeze.

In town I bought some red wool as I have decided to torture myself by knitting a scarf for winter ( I'm terrible at knitting but find it quite relaxing).
