For some reason people that know me  think I'm a glass half empty sort; the eternal pessimist; we're doomed to fail. Well, they're not wrong.

Once again Scotland's football team have plunged a skean dhu into the heart of this bewildered supporter by contriving to lose to a team that – up until now – has only managed to beat GIBRALTER in this current Euro campaign. Georgian deja vu or what? What we need to do now is beat Germany on Monday. Fat chance...

And just to rub salt in the emotional wound, the Irish have now leapfrogged us into third spot. That's the last time I buy a Guinness.
