More from Snettisham : once the tide turned, small bird search parties kept setting out to discover if mud-flats were yet revealed. Suddenly , all together thousands of birds lifted off the gravel pit & flew back over our waiting heads. These are all Oystercachers. The Birds flew together is huge species flocks.
