The Scent of Goodbye

Late this afternoon waking from a refreshing nap my eyes were drawn to this beautiful display of love. These were given to my wife as a parting of sorts from one of our church friends. Their fragrance filled the room as I smiled and let my mind wander through some pleasant memories. The scent of goodbye continued to lightly waver throughout our home as evening fell and made for a perfectly peaceful end to the day.
