Lemons

More cakes today...four whole lemons went into my lemon drizzle and poppy seed cake, so a lot of zesting and juicing needed which filled the kitchen with their wonderful smell.

Lemons have all sorts of other uses, such as cleaning agents, and for medicinal purposes but one slightly more bizarre experiment proved that  electricity could be produced.  Apparently it's possible to attach electrodes to a lemon and use it as a battery to produce electricity, although very low power, several lemon power batteries can power a small digital watch!
