Ring Road: Day One

i'm going to keep this one brief!

achim, joosi, ellen, sylvia and i have rented a car for the weekend and are making our way around the ring road! that is, the 827 mile main road that circumnavigates this beautiful island. iceland is so beautiful it's unreal. the water is so ridiculously blue, the mountains are shapes that shouldn't be possible, even the rocks are from a fantasy movie. we arrived in akureyri (capitol of the north) at 6, just about, made dinner at the hostel, and we're all currently exhausted in bed. woohoo iceland yeahhh
