An end of a chapter

P's last day at nursery today and it feels quite monumental. I decorated the house with some congratulations banners and got her a 'my little pony' helium balloon. She was so excited when she came downstairs this morning and wasted no time opening her little present too.

When I dropped her off at nursery she couldn't wait to give the staff her card that she had made along with the cakes. They all made a fuss of her and she was so proud and happy.

She was still just as excitable when I picked her up this afternoon. She had had a fantastic day as always and all the preschool staff made a point of coming to say good bye and to wish her luck. After lots of squishy cuddles we made our exit before anyone noticed me holding back the tears!
