Friday celebrations

A pretty good, busy day. B's school celebrated its conversion to an academy today. I have to admit to mixed feelings about the whole academy set-up, but there is no doubting the integrity, values, enthusiasm and determination of the team here and I can't see that changing.

The blip is of the girl, who having left this morning neatly ponytailed and with her fringe back in her headband, looked like a glorious hoyden by 1.45. There's a word I haven't used before - I think it may be time to reclaim it. Happy Friday all.
