How to dress like a maggot

Today's job (failed) was to reattach a water pipe to the incoming mains line in the new house. Never actually handled copper pipe before, so couldn't be that difficult....

Totally failed of course, measured 1" pipe instead of 3/4" so got entirely the wrong Sharkbite adapter, and what with HomeDepot (since discovered that Lowes have a range called GatorBite) 12 miles away, and two trip to HomeDepot and Lowes already under my belt decided to give up and try again tomorrow.

First job of the day was to get under the house, incorrectly measure the pipe, but before all that I needed a Tyvek painting suit thing. The underneath of the house is absolutely filthy and theres no way in hell I can do it in normal clothes. So got a Tyvek all in one suit (inc feet), and dressed like a maggot. Then wriggled underneath the house, much like a maggot as well.

Tomorrow I will dress like a dirty maggot and do this all again with the correct SharkBite adapter.
