Apple watch

I went into the garden to take a look at the apple tree today. We only planted it in April but it is nevertheless bearing 9 healthy looking apples. I'm not sure how much longer we'll have to wait until they're ready to eat, although there's perhaps a clue in the name - Christmas Pippin.
