Fun-guy at the Beach

Went to Slapton Ley for lunch today in the Start Bay Inn (Fish 'N Chips - absolutely gorgeous!) Took a walk along the beach afterwards and amongst the foliage was this fungi,  all alone, not another one in sight. Hubby did say to let you know that it was him that spotted it!  :)
Also the extra shows one of the many flowers growing there along the beach path. Looks like a Nigella to me, unless anyone can tell me differently.
