Global chats

Today the magic of Facebook meant I was able to chat to my fabulous bro (in law) Sunday about travel and relaxation across the pond despite his busy work schedule.

Today Sunday ran a rectangular route around Central Park - the most traditional route of all time - as I requested images of travel bags for a client case study. I love being able to talk to family and friends no matter where they are in the world and my bro Sunday and I often chat.

This week I've also chatted with my good friend from the flying club Jack who is currently on a ship waiting to dock at Le Harve. He ran out of wine and crisps three days ago so it's all a bit drastic!

I also had a lovely chat with another friend who is working in the Far East at the moment. Always bizarre talking to someone at their breakfast time while I'm in my PJs drinking wine.

This evening I caught up with news from the accommodation team at Leeds Castle over a few glasses of wine at the pub with my pals Mark and Chris. We talked about the first time I met them when I began the PR contract at the fairytale castle. Turns out I made an impression from day one.

My time there resulted in an appreciation for all things historical and I'll never forget it. The place is magical and it holds onto my heart - just like the wonderful friends I made there!
