Summer is round the corner

I found a pile of discarded Lego in the garden this evening, now all covered in mud, leaves and catkins and in need of a good old clean.

Knowing what happened when my mum tried to clean the Lego of her brothers that she recently found, (it didn't survive the dishwasher), I decided to go for the old school alternative of a good old soak in hot water.

I do hope the little ones are grateful for my care of their abandoned toys!

I'm posting this for my friend Fiona, a classroom assistant, for whom the coming of summer is heralded by the tedious task of washing thousands of pieces of Lego.
