Rutherglen Town Hall

Originally built in 1862, re-opened 10 years ago this month following a £12.5M refurbishment. Now housing an award-winning cafe and running a variety of performances, the Grand Hall can be hired for meetings, events and weddings.

It's quite a stunning building (didn't have time to go in, only saw the exterior) - there's so much detail to look at, and you see more the longer you look; firstly the obvious with the turrets and tower, the big window at the front and then the black gargoyles on the side elevation.
