Mollie

I still marvel at how beautiful this young lady is! This evening we were going to Skype but Mollie (not me) has forgotten her log in details - instead we had a long face to face chat on FaceTime. With Daniel's guidance I took this photo as we chatted!

Today was first day back at school, so up in plenty of time for the school bus Henry was out the door by 7.15. It was pouring! I followed 5 minutes later and his bus arrived within 5 minutes of it's due time!

A busy day at work, but I still managed half an hour to do some Boots shopping at lunch time. I needed a thick hair net and some kirby grips - I'm determined to do something to Mollie's hair for the 40's weekend.

Leaving at 4.45 I was lucky that the bus was stuck in traffic, so technically shouldn't have let me on, but they are pretty good in Norwich. It may all change next week when the contract goes to a new company. Let's hope not!

So home by 5.30 and a cup of tea & chat with mum & dad next door who arrived today for a few days. After dinner, my FaceTime chat with Mollie who has experienced her first day cycling to Long Road from Girton, (she said was exhausting) but had a good day at college & a long cycle home. She said that she stopped on the way back as she saw them filming Granchester the ITV show near King's College. She spoke to one of the security men. Highlight of the day for a Media & Film Studies student!

The skirt is still in pieces, but I may get the sewing machine out in a minute.....maybe!

Looking forward to seeing Jon & Mollie tomorrow & grateful to Karen & Neil for looking after her & special thanks to Angus for giving up his room already, Lily for cycling with her to college, & Felix for just making it feel like home!
