My Comeuppance

No prizes for guessing where I've been today.   I had three choices when the little white (not brown) envelope fell onto the door mat and I choose the easy option.   So after paying £88.00 and booking myself onto the course I duly arrived at the venue this afternoon and sat for four hours on a not very comfortable plastic chair (I came away with a numb bum) listening to why we shouldn't speed and more to the point why it's perceived that we do!    I was very surprised to see that out of 25 on the course less than 25% were under 40, so we oldies should know better.
It was very well presented and interesting but there were too many facts and figures to be able to take it all. 
The gist of it all was that if we get caught again within three years it will automatically be a £100.00 fine, three penalty points or an appearance in court, and our car insurance would increase too, so it's a no brainer really.
