Up in the mountains

We visted Port de Soller and took a tram into the Soller old town.

It was market day and there were SO many people. I was not keen (neither were the boys or my Grandma) so we headed down and ally in search or somewhere special for lunch and we were not disappointed. We found a tapas bar, a little hole in the wall restaurant where the food was amazing.

While we were waiting for the bus we popped into see the Picasso ceramic exhibition where there was a plate that had a slight rude looking depiction on it. It tickled me. I can be very childish.. I had to get a snap.

We then followed Soller with a trip to Valldemossa. It's a windy coastal/cliff road that was also high as we were heading into the mountains. Totally breathtaking and equally terrifying.

In Valldemossa I did try the local speciality Almond cake... delicious!
