Clematis or Otter?

Up and out early today.......over to meet sis and friend for Step class at 10.15......not done one of these for a good few years, was quite pleased I kept up ok.....was a bit like a wet rag by the time I'd finished though ;-)

Then back to mums, sis came in for a quick cuppa before going home. I'd promised to wash and style mums hair, as she struggles to keep her arms up now, so finds it difficult herself. Her hair is so fine.....but with a bit of patience, stylish spray and hair spray, it looked pretty good, she said she looked 21 ;-)

We had egg on toast for lunch, before we went out for a couple of hours shopping. Bearing in mind mum lives alone, she doesn't do bad when she goes shopping...her favourite saying is that her freezer has elasticated sides!! Lol just as well, it's a juggling act fitting things in!

Today's blip is of mums water feature in her back garden.....it's one that dad bought her for her birthday a good few years ago.....it leaks now, even though we've tried to repair it, but she can't throw it out, so it has now become a standard for this lovely clematis to clamber over. It always makes me smile when I look at it, with the otter poking it's head out of the foliage!

We are just going to have dinner, an M&S coronation chicken, with potatoe croquets..... it smells nice :-)

Will be off home 7 sharp tonight as its quizz night. Will get back 7.50 and out again 8.15 ;-)

New boiler going in tomorrow :-0
