A Lumpy Legged Border...

Mr K, Alfred and I have had to postpone our holiday until at least next Wednesday.  This morning I felt a huge lump on Alfred's left thigh and took him straight to the vet, who advised us not to travel as planned on Saturday.  He says it could be an infection, or it might be something that needs surgical removal  - if so as soon as possible.  He can't cut into it if it's an infection, so Alfred's been given antibiotic injections and we're hoping it is an infection in which case it should have gone down by Monday when we have to go back to the vet.  If it hasn't, he'll have to be investigated further and we can't have our planned holiday - if he's better, we'll still go, just later.  Whatever is best for Alfred, that's what we'll do!
