Painting the window sills!

I've just bought new curtains and decided before I put them up I would paint the windowsills. We had wooden sills installed when we had the double glazing done (about 25 years ago!!) and through years of neglect the varnish had peeled and was water stained, so I decided it was quicker to sand it down and paint it white. Just trying to finish off a myriad of little jobs before I return to Bahrain next week. So nothing very interesting to blip!
