The Poser

The sea was so dramatic along the Kaikoura coast today that a walk down to the beach seemed a great idea. I was just getting myself into gear when this guy came wandering down over the railway line, down the bank onto the beach, and up onto this log! Maybe he was a surfing wannabe? At that point my memory card ran out, but I did get this one! No idea who he was  :)
That's the Inland Kaikoura mountains in the distance, with fresh snow. Did someone say it was Spring yet?
