The Big Beach Busk!

After a night of rock'n'roll at the big blue box (see the previous day), S and I headed into town and caught two very different shows - one was a Korean tale about a woman's imagined journey to a mythical place and the other was Taiko drumming with a group from Japan. They were very different experiences and both excellent. We then ran into a colleague of mine and his partner and went for coffee and a donut (the most expensive donut I've ever had) at a trendy pop-up spot that has since disappeared (not unlike the donut).

We made it to the last couple of hours of the Big Beach Busk. It was another great showing with much credit to my friend PL. A brass silver band even turned up!
