I took a walk over to the end of the street to see if there was going to be a good sunset, but there were too many low clouds on the horizon for any "interesting" shots.  Needing a blip, I scanned the neighborhood on the way home and spotted these black eyed Susans (I'm certain they have a proper name, but I don't know it!), so here you go. 
It was a good day with time spent preparing for the family to arrive this weekend.  Making sure they will have food to eat and a clean place to sleep!!!  There will be 18 of us here and we will celebrate my hubby's birthday early because we can't all be together on his ACTUAL birthday.
