Here Be Dragons
Took Murphy to the garage for his service this morning then Basil and I went in search of breakfast at the Elim Church cafe, in what was once St Peter's Church in Loughborough.
We wended our way back to the bus stop, when who should pass by but Gill driving the MG. We went back home with her for coffee which gave us a super chance to catch up.
Then home on the bus which stopped right opposite her house.
The sun was very pleasant this afternoon. What's more, it was out and shining! I finally got round to taking photos of stuff that I want to sell on eBay, as well as of my dragon.
Just as I was finishing, the first drops of rain began to fall. I had lunch hoping that the rain would peter out, but it didn't. As a result, Basil and I were soaked on the way back to the garage to pick up Murphy.
Then to Leicester to swap cars with Len, and on to the Leicester Bach Choir for the first rehearsal of the year - Bach's Mass in B Minor. Must do some serious revision.
When I got home, I couldn't resist working on my dragon to make him look a little more realistic. What do you think of the result?
Naturally, now I am tired. Should have gone to bed an hour ago.
