Food Waste Thought Tree
I spotted this tree in my way out to lunch. It is a thought tree where people could post their thoughts on food waste and how to tackle the problem. It appears to be part of a Food Matters Symposium that took place locally and is supported by the Uni - see extra photo for details. It looked great, positioned next to the library courtyard garden.
It was Leo's last day of freedom - back to school for him tomorrow. I am expecting a disturbed night as he usually wakes multiple times with things on his mind before each new school year. I have heard him mumbling away a few times already but so far he has settled himself - fingers crossed he makes it through the rest of the night. There is a noisy helicopter circling around overhead at the moment too which I'm hoping buzzes off soon as I don't want that helping to wake him.
At least he had a good last day of the hols. He had a golf lesson with the club pro and hit some good shots so was very pleased with himself - thanks for the lessons Aunty Nina! Then he also had a nice lunch at the golf club with his grandma and grandad - living the highlife!
Once he was home, he invited all the kids from next door in and it sounds like they had a whale of a time playing Nerf Wars, football, basketball and getting out every toy they could find. Poor mum! Think she was exhausted with the mayhem they caused - not to mention the tidying up afterwards. Think mum will enjoy the peace and quiet tomorrow :)
