Hung Out To Dry
Jazzy dog and I went down the field quite early today. There was a definite autumnal feel, it was chilly and dewy. I was thinking that Blip will be full of spiders and diamonds but it didn't stop me snapping Araneus diadematus, the diadem or garden spider.
I went to Amwell Nature Reserve after lunch and met some twitchers. They had ticked a Wryneck off their list yesterday at Alexandra Palace and today were hoping to see a Flycatcher that had been spotted and was causing some intrigue. I got nice shots of coneheads, ichneumon wasps and harvestmen.
