Elymus Repens, Richmond Bridge

Unless any horticulturist out there would like to correct me, I have it on reasonably good authority (my wife, plus Wikipedia) that what we have here is the flower spike of elymus repens, or common couch grass, against a backdrop of Richmond Bridge. Nice golden evening light down by the river tonight.
