Thank you and farewell .....

The last meeting this evening for Christine, chair of our Safeguarding Reference Group. After 8 years at the helm of a team navigating through all levels of safeguarding she is stepping aside for a well-earned break from demanding, rewarding and sometimes heartbreaking work. We will miss her extra-ordinary knowledge, wisdom, passion, dedication and hard-earned experience and Christine can look back with a great sense of achievement at transforming this area of work and, ultimately, ensuring children and vulnerable adults stay safe.
