The Two Ks

With no car, we were at the vagaries of City Link buses to get us to Perth to see our new great great nieces, the two Ks, Kathleen and Kimberley.
There's nothing guaranteed to make one feel exceptionally old than to have two 'greats' qualifying our aunt and uncle titles.

The twins are now 5 weeks old and doing well. They are beautiful babies and were happy to get a cuddle before they fell asleep. They are not identical twins and Kimberley looks like she is going to be the mischief maker- she is the one on the left who was keeping an eye on me.

After the cuddles we went back to Perth city centre and while HL had lunch with his brother, I had lunch with a friend before meeting up with the men for coffee.

I wish I could say that the journey home was as direct and quick as the trip out. Unfortunately we did a tour of most of Dunfermline, which lengthened the journey both physically and mentally.

However we are home now and I have a quick turnaround to go out again for an evening class. It's all happening today!
