It's Raining Cats And Dogs

The weather people had predicted that the rain that had been falling for the whole night and the better part of the day would stop in the late afternoon. Mum was very much hoping that this was indeed going to happen, as our second agility lesson awaited us this evening.

As we headed out to the dog club, the rain was falling as if it hadn't heard the weather report. I had my rain overalls and mum was also geared up, which was lucky, because it kept pouring down for the two hours we were there. I don't like to work when it's raining. I don't like being outside when it's raining. I just don't like rain.

So it was a challenge for us. Mum tried to stay happy, and I tried to stay focused on mum and the task at hand. Which was learning how to put the paws in the right position on A- and balance obstacles, and different methods (4!) to learn slalom. When we were going for the cooldown walk, I just refused to go even one step away from the general direction of the car, so mum had to call it a day. We do hope for better weather next time!
