Over the river

Trek Day 1

In the morning we were fetched up by our guide. After a long ride with the car we first arrived at a butterfly and orchide farm. Then we got to a Elephant camp where we could meet elephants. To get to our lunch place we had to cross the river in the picture. There was a cage with a zip line. It was a bit scary but there was no other way to come on the other side.
After some delicious rice we began with our hike. We hiked about two hours to the hill tribe village. It was very hot and our guide very fast. So it was very hard! But the nature was impressive! We were in the jungle! When we arrived at the village we were rewarded with a great view at our night stay.
