Cheeky Lorikeet

This charming little bird seemed very happy to put on a bit of a performance for me this morning. In between screeches and whistles he did this little pose a couple of times and I was so thrilled to catch it! He looks like he's saying to me 'howdie human' :))

My extra shows how flexible he was in getting to the nectar of the flame tree flower! He really was quite wonderful!!
