In the green!

A lovely morning and much warmer than yesterday. ( It has ofcourse spoilt it self this afternoon!)

We headed to Goit Stock to walk our 5th big path watch square. It was a continuation of the 2nd one we did continuing through the woods this time and passing the famous waterfall.

At the end you come to Hallas Bridge, seen here and the light through the trees was creating this wonderful green reflection in the beck.

We followed the Millennium way path through to Hewenden and then back across fields to Hallas Lane and the woods on the top side of Goit Stock.

We were able to cover a few bits of our next square as we returned home but there are a few spurs of paths we didn't manage to complete. One I've never used before so will need to go back soon weather permitting. (Also spotted some blackberries I might pick next time!)

Just got in from Pilates and got wet in the process. A nice cup of tea and then an early evening in the pub with friends.
