Shetland Bus
The memorial to the Shetland Bus, operating out of Burghead on the Moray coast, not just Shetland ,was opened within the last few weeks. It bears six names and commemorates Norwegian and British personnel. It can be seen right of centre with the harbour in front and the Old Customs House left back.
I took it from this angle so that the burgee flying on the masthead is shown. Obviously a local boat bearing a Bull, the Pictish symbol of Burghead.
