Beauty of the Bud

This morning I was excited to see that one of our Magnolia trees was filled with buds.  It is quite interesting to see them in different stages of development. The magnolia flower is associated with nobility, perseverance, dignity and a love of nature.  I am not sure who comes up with flower symbolism, but I think that when this striking flower is in full bloom it is very impressive and beautiful.  The white magnolia flower, which this bud will become, also stands for purity and perfection.  I will throughly enjoy the flowers when they do bloom.
