Gathering Storm

The final day of the school holidays today so, having checked the weather locally, we decided that heading to the Dales would give us the biggest window in the weather for a walk. We settled on Settle and started the walk in glorious sunshine. However,  whilst the Yorkshire sunshine continued  into the afternoon, storm cloud were appearing in Lancashire, and an impressive thunderstorm followed. Thankfully , the worst of the storm missed us and we just got a little wet as we returned to the town.
