Dancing around the feeder

I made up new food for the hummingbird feeders last night and left it on the counter to cool.  This morning I had to wait for these two hummers to finish their dance before going out to clean the feeders and filling them up.  They put on quite a show for a good long while.  See my 6 extras.  The feeder was not empty although close to it, so there was something there for them to come in and get a drink of.

With September having arrived, I decided to change out the flowers at the front door.  This even though the heat is still with us.

The thunderstorms every night are ensuring the ground is plenty moist and causing mushrooms of many different colours to appear in our yard.

Because of the travel that Kent is going to have to do related to his job and the acquisition of 5 solar sites, we felt strongly that he needed a vehicle that was rugged and could be 4 wheel if need be.  After several months of looking, thinking, talking and praying Kent sold his caddy today and came home with his new F150 Platinum.
