Back Yard Carnage

Hydro came today to finish "trimming" tree branches that interfered with their power lines. But instead, they took out whole trees. We never used to be able to see the houses back there. Now we are totally exposed. Where will all our cardinals and bluejays go? There is no longer a shade line for the dogs. I can't even explain how sad this makes me. I am grieving for my birds and trees.
