Highway to Heaven.....

Or rather the flower on our Phormium tenax (New Zealand Flax) reaching for the sky. It seemed to grow everyday, but I think that it has come to the end now. I love to use this flower in modern/abstract floral designs, as they dry so beautifully, and keep the lovely blackish bark.
Shouldn't tempt fate, but the weather has been gorgeous today as you can see from the lovely blue sky.
