We found the wetlands...

I'm sure they weren't lost, but first time we've ventured into them on our wee walk this evening. We never knew they were there. Just a tiny Nature Reserve about 10 mins walk from where we live... interesting because the info boards told us about a tiny bat that can eat up to 3,000 midges in one evening. So we've decided we'll need to capture one to take camping with us next time.

J had his first day training today, sounds like the start of a pretty intense two week course, which will be followed by a few more weeks working with a mentor... phew. Early starts too... he's joining me in long journeys to work for the next couple of weeks. So early to bed tonight...
