Sound and Light

Saturday night at le pont du gard with about three thousand other people!!

There was a fantastic sound and light 'spectacle' which we went for and whilst waiting for darkness to descend we were treated to an eclectric selection of jazz under the bridge.
The sound and light show was superb and punctuated by fabulous fireworks which I would have tried to capture if 1) I had thought to take my tripod and get there early enough to get a good spot (some people looked as though they had been there all day) and 2) we hadn't got four children between the two of us to keep an eye on in the dark with lots and lots of other people all around.

Maybe next time we'll leave the children at home......they enjoyed it but getting home at 2am was a bit of a stretch....and we are still paying for it!!
