To Be Five

My son is a bit of a character. Yesterday he had an assessment with his soon-to-be kindergarten teacher. I walked around the room trying not to laugh. Needless to say, it was hard.

Teacher: Miles, what school did you go to before and what did you learn?
Miles: The Children's Garden! Why go to kindergarten unless to know how to garden? 

Teacher: How high can you count Miles?
Miles: All of them.
Teacher: Please count as high as you can. (Counts to 49 and stops.) Do you want to know what comes next?
Miles: No.
