Suburban Night Light

The furthest I ventured out today was to put the bird feeders back up in the garden after I'd cleaned them and to throw out a few nuts for the poor soggy squirrel! It was a thoroughly soggy day.

This is the view of our adjoining neighbour's railing and bench, beautifully lit by the street lamp. Only a matter of seconds earlier and I'd have got a great silhouette of Lucy, their cat, too. But she was called in for her tea, and nothing stops her from her food.
