The Wettest August

These raindrops were caught on a web - on a juniper growing outside the kitchen window. (Not the same web as in yesterday's blip!).
A grey, wet Bank Holiday Monday, with pictures on the news showing deserted beaches, muddy festivals, and Notting Hill Carnival going ahead under plastic raincoats and ponchos. What a shame.
It is thought to have been the wettest August on record!
But...the forecast for September is better, drier, sunnier!!
I do hope they are right this time (remember that forecast for a very hot August??)!!
