What a gorgeous day today which is unusual for a Bank Holiday :)  Not quite gorgeous all day as late this afternoon the heaven's opened for at least an hour.  I took Misty's friend home during the rain and afterwards sat in the car at Lanthwaite for a while waiting for it to stop so we could go for a walk.   Some very bedraggled people were arriving back at their cars and some were even stripping out of their wet clothes :):)

So the rain stopped and we had our walk, just a short one and it was great apart from the trillions of midges.   Lots of pretty pink heather on the fells at the moment.
