Handing Over

"Paul" - runner 75 of the day's relay, the second Filey torch bearer - rightly looked like this absolutely was one of the proudest moments of his life. His family surrounded him as he waited, and they too couldnt have been prouder of him as he stepped forward to take the flame.

I was keen to go see the torch, I didnt expect quite to be so enthused by it. It was a fabulous occasion, knowing we were part of something right across the nation, seeing lots of people loving getting excited for total strangers who were doing this. And LittleOne completely got soaked in the whole atmosphere, it was quite magical to watch.
