Full of beans

Unfortunately the title does not quite reflect the levels of activity in this household today, but we did have a lovely runner bean stew with garlic and butter to go with our tuna steaks, new potatoes and tomato salad. The runner beans were home grown by family in Hastings and simply stunning! Thanks to my efforts yesterday we also had freshly baked bread this morning for breakfast.

We only ventured out in the rain today for an aborted trip to Kingston (clearly not the only people who thought of that idea) which instead turned into a useful round of errands in Richmond.
